It is official: SPH is done with his MBA! The last two years have flown by the Sweet Pea crew, so much has happened:
*we sold our house and moved from Alexandria, Virginia (our home for 10+ years) to Columbus, Ohio.
*SPH quit his job (yikes!) and started a full-time MBA program and internship.
*we found out we were expecting and had our sweet baby G (as a side note: G conveniently scheduled his arrival on an early Friday AM when SPH did not have class. I joke that G wanted to be as accommodating as possible to his dad's crazy schedule)
*R started a new school and made new friends
*Yours truly has enjoyed leaving the traffic, frenetic pace, crazy real estate prices, and power struggle of DC to arrive in a really friendly, family-centered, beautiful, cultured, if not a little Buckeye-crazy city.
Amazing.
So now we enter the next chapter in the Sweet Pea family's life. Thankfully, this one has no papers, not finals, no late night studying or group projects. Onward and upward we go...
Our meals for the week:
Grilled Pizza Margherita
Grilled Chicken Sausages, Corn on the Cob and Bean Salad.
Red Skinned Potato, Ham and Swiss Salad
Grilled Chicken Salad
Have a sweet week,
SPC

Congrats to SPH! I trust that his post-MBA job will keep you in Columbus, right? No more moves on the horizon?
Congrats to SPH! My BIL (sis's hubby) graduates in 2 weeks. My other BIL (John's middle brother) graduates next year and my other BIL (John's youngest brother) starts B-school in the fall.
John and I need to go back to school since we are the least educated in our families now!
We have an empty fridge and a desolate pantry...I haven't gotten groceries yet so I dont' know what we are having this week.
Congrats to SPH and especially SPC for making it through two years!
We did tacos last night, I think leftovers tonight, and hopefully huevos rancheros the next. Melissa's last day of school is Friday so we're planning a little something for her - definitely some guac and margartias. Guess we're on a tex-mex kick this year.
Congrats to both of you! You both deserve a huge pat on the back. I can't believe that 2 years has flown by.
We are on the grill every night this week, fajitas, chicken brats, pork tenderloin, turkey burgers...it's just too hot to cook!
Thanks Ladies...
Yes, Jersey Baby, we are staying in Columbus. I am thrilled to not have to make new friends again!
As the wife of another MBA student I have to admit...I am Jealous!!! I will be so glad when this is complete and so with our 3 children....Congratuations to you all for making it through!
