The boys and I planted pumpkin seeds earlier this spring. Once I transplanted them from the pot to the garden, they turned all yellow and looked like they were goners for sure. But I am happy to report with a little of this:
and lots of sun and rain, the plants are looking pretty good:I am not sure if you can tell, but in the top right, we even have a pumpkin blossom. Woo hoo!
If you are interested in organic gardening you have to check out Espoma Natural Gardening Solutions. A lot of their products, like Plant-tone and Garden-tone are available at big home improvement stores. I highly recommend them!

We're sticking to our one tomato plant this year, but I have big plans for next summer. There's a nursery near us that sells this organic chicken manure which is crazy stinky (the smell goes away quickly after it's spread), but works like crazy and can work anywhere in the yard.
Very nice! Glad to see it's hanging in there.
I just did herbs this year, but next year I'm planning big things for my garden...tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, squash...we'll see. We have a BIG problem with deer eating everything. My poor begonias have been eaten!
