I've been wondering

What's your term of endearment for your little ones? I want a roll call... Obviously, you know mine. :)

Tell me yours.

Our meals for the week:

Bay Scallop Pasta and Corn on the Cob
Sweet Pea Pizza Sauce Pizza
Chicken and Black Bean Quesadillas
Cobb Salad

We call our youngest child, Lulu. It was a term of endearment for a super sweet girl in my family and it just suited my lil one too!

I called E Sweet Pea when she was a baby. Then, we called her Silly Goose which eventually got shortened to Goose.

A never got a nickname like that though. I sang a silly song with her name in it when I used to change her diaper, which changed the endings of her name...and Adeloo stuck. That eventually got shortened to LuLu.

So now...we call them Lizzie and LuLu.

Evan is "Chunk" because he was so big as a baby. We also call him "Little Woo" for some reason. I have no idea where that came from...probably will resent that name when he's older.

Julia is "Boo Boo", used to be "Pity Poo" when Marc would mock her for being fussy when she was younger. We often call her "Buggy" -- no idea why. I think I called her love bug, and then it morphed into buggy. Ironically, she hates bugs, but doesn't mind the nickname! :)

I called my big one SweetPea when he was little. And Piggy because he snorted when he was hungry. They didn't stick, though. I call the little one Peanut, and that has stuck.

My favorite Monday meal:

whole wheat spaghetti, tossed with homemade tomato sauce from our garden. I just "smoosh" any and all types of tomatoes fresh from the garden, fresh basil, and mix with the pasta. I top with low-fat organic mozzarella cheese, and serve with corn on the cob. So easy, so cheesy and so good!

Jack is Wacko. Always Wacko. I even yell that across the playground to get his attention. Occasionally he becomes Wack-a-do. He also gets Son alot. He answers to that well.

With Van, we are still in the honeymoon phase with him. He is only 11 weeks. We are still waiting for his quirks to come out. But the day he was born, Ethan picked him up and immediately coined him Mini-Van. Kind of sweet.

Jake is, of course, Bubba or Bubs. And Rachel is usually Baby Girl or Baby Love, but I only use those when snuggling. She doesn't seem the type to like nicknames in public. My grandmother calls her Rachel Bagel just to get a reacion out of her - usually stomping her feet with hands on hips "I'm NOT Rachel Bagel". When she was younger she woud name herself for the day - Caillou, Genevieve, Marabelle. Quiz time: Can anyone tell me where all those references are from?

Not interesting in any way, but my husband has always called our boys "little boy" and our girl "little girl". Funny until they start responding with, "Dad, I'm not a little boy anymore!"

I call my 5 yr old son Bubboo (which is what my 2 yr old calls him - SO CUTE!), and I call my 2 yr old daughter "sweet petite."
