This is the time of year when I start scouring my drawers for extra Chap-stick, lotion and anything, anything that will help my skin from feeling so dry. My hands especially take a beating, since the air is so dry and I sometimes feel like I wash my hands non-stop during the day.
So when the day is (almost) done, and SPH is upstairs giving R and G their baths, I take a little time to give my hands a little moisture therapy. I've tried everything from Vaseline Intensive Care, pure Cocoa Butter, L'Occitane, Aveda, and just about anything else out there.
My favorite?
I slather (is that even a word?) some of this on my hands, whip on my dishwashing gloves and start working on the dishes. The warm water helps soothe my hands as this lotion does its magic.
It's the little things...

Good idea! My hands are so bad lately. I am going to buy some dishwashing gloves next time I am at the store and give this a try.
Oooooh... my mom used to smear that on my hands when I was little! I love the smell of that stuff!
