Betcha can't guess which cookies R and G decorated above?
New this year: Jam Thumbprints. Yum.
As I was plating up cookies, I realized this plate could be entitled, "The SP family on a plate."
The meals this week will be easy and simple...except Christmas of course. This year we're staying home for Christmas, just the 4 of us.
What are your plans this year?
Not sure how many posts will make their way to SP&P in the next week, so in case you don't hear from me before Thursday,
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Peace,
SPC

Merry Christmas!
Your cookies look great.
Cute stuff!
Merry Christmas!
My Mom makes a good thumbprint cookie as well. It was one of my favorites growing up. Did you use your gingerbread cookie recipe for the cutouts? I made cutouts this year and Evan helped. It was my Mom's recipe and they didn't turn out that great. I threw most of them away!! Cutouts are too much work so I don't make them very often.
Amy, I am right there with you! I think cutouts are a LOT of work, and I am not a fan of sugar cookies...so yes, we use gingerbread for all our cutouts and it works just great. If you can't find the link to the allrecipes.com recipe I use, let me know and I will email it to you.
Merry Christmas!
Love all the cookies. It's amazing. I guess that's not one of stronger areas as I have made no cookies this year :)
Christmas is at my house so 28 more minutes and I am off from work until Monday. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas SPC!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm reading the comments and it's funny b/c other than the pretzel/kisses treats, the only cookie I made were cutouts! I don't think they are that hard, but maybe b/c I *finally* found a great recipe for them.
I am jealous about it just being the 4 of you. Xmas Eve will be a busy day at my Mom's. Xmas AM with be at home just the 4 of us, then leaving for Zville for 2 days. A little busy, but good. :) Merry Xmas!!
Oooooo, these look scrumptious!!!!! Nice job!!
Oh and I'm sorry, but I can't seem to remember where that brown paper came from... we've had it, this HUGE roll, and I still have a ton after wrapping all the gifts. I think a craft store would do the trick.
