So my dad suggested we make potato pancakes.

Now whenever we have leftover potatoes someone says "Hey, we could make potato pancakes." Eventually it has spilled over to any overproduced item...steak pancakes, salad pancakes, pancake pancakes.

Silly, but it always makes us giggle.Slacker Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09033879799276664536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6496583714739399997.post-15870771615551970062008-08-27T09:32:00.000-04:002008-08-27T09:32:00.000-04:00Ok, I'll bite...What's the joke SM??Ok, I'll bite...

What's the joke SM??Sweet Pea Chefhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05201359992849023769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6496583714739399997.post-88296925982454171682008-08-26T22:54:00.000-04:002008-08-26T22:54:00.000-04:00My family has a running joke about potato pancakes...My family has a running joke about potato pancakes...but these look yummy!Slacker Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09033879799276664536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6496583714739399997.post-21378605406683054162008-08-26T17:27:00.000-04:002008-08-26T17:27:00.000-04:00me being a quarter polish...well, lets just say we...me being a quarter polish...well, lets just say we ate ALOT of these growing up and I still love them. Whenever we went to grandma's after school she would serve them to us with apple sauce and sour cream along with a vanilla egg cream soda. I even remember the plate she would put them on. So funny the things we remember, and there isn't A LOT I remember. Thanks for the memory :)

And ditto on the diner - I always make sure they don't kill the egg yolk. Love it oozing out.Live.Love.Eathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10014244331752838359noreply@blogger.com
